Wow, if you had asked me if Fitbit would be the first to address Women’s health via period tracking, I would have avoided the question. There is no doubt we have lots of love for Fitbit, but the stock market and stats that have been coming in lately, seem to point to Fitbit as a lost cause.
But we are every excited to share that Fitbit, in addition to it’s launch of a new Smartwatch, Fitbit Ionic, smart scale, Fitbit Aria 2, and now, another lower cost Smartwatch, the Fitbit Versa, that Fitbit will now launch a new period tracking app on all devices in the coming months.
Here’s the short and sweet of what you need to know:
- The timeframe for the launch will be centered around the new Fitbit Versa.
- You will be able to track ovulation and your cycle, and log symptoms.
- The Fitbit app will be the home of feature tracking for all devices, but the Fitbit Ionic and Versa will work more collaboratively with the tracker to help bring you reminders related to the information you log.
The video below will highlight everything for you, but to sum up the features with a quote from Fitbit in it’s video, you’ll have a holistic view of your body, fitness, and overall health, so you’ll know “what to pack for your next vacation, when you’ve gotta get some gym time, and when it’s go time!”
